Girl’s Day Program is for girls, age 12 through 18, who are struggling with their behavior in school, at home, or in the community. This program is a safe, structured environment where girls will receive program services, as well as skill development in the following areas:

·    Rules and consequences
·    Setting and achieving goals
·    Relationship issues
·    Self esteem
·    Anger management
·    Independent living skills
·    Job skill classes
·    Future planning
·    Community Services

The girls attend school at this program and an important focus is placed on educational goals. We transport girls within a six county area to and from the program.

Our hope is that we help each participant use insight, empathy and respect in dealing with others. Our mission is to provide a safe, positive and stimulating environment for young women to explore their possibilities and make better choices. Our wish: To have the focus not be punishment to be here, but a growth and learning experience.

Our Girl’s Day Program also includes optional In-home Services - a minimum of two sessions a month. We also have an on-call emergency crisis intervention staff person to respond to calls over the weekends (if the need arises) with our participants and their family’s.
